On 07/09, William & Stephanie Foundation was invited by the National Federation of Filipino American Associations-Greater Los Angeles (NaFFAA-GLA) to attend LA County’s largest Philippine America Friendship Day in Cerritos, CA, by the theme of “Celebrating the Extraordinary Accomplishments of Everyday Filipino Americans”. In conjunction with the festival, California State Treasurer Fiona Ma was invited to speak at the information sharing sessions which engaged and enlightened the event attendees on the latest state programs. Business representatives from Cabinet City, which is a minority-owned business in the City of San Gabriel, also attended this great event and shared their knowledge as business professional. Through this event, everyone had a great time and enjoyed the activities, music, culture, and food in a festival atmosphere. While the world embarks on the road to recovery from the impact of COVID-19, William & Stephanie Foundation will continue to work with our community partners to foster the diversity by embracing and recognizing each community’s history and cultures, to rebuild community relationships as the bridge between the community and the government, and to awake everyone’s hope to pursue a brighter future for California.
